Prior to ABN AMRO, Mr. Newman was the senior Internet analyst at Schroder & Co. Mr. Newman also was the Internet analyst at Gerard KlauerMattison, where he covered companies in the Internet service provider, electronic commerce infrastructure, and content areas. For five years, Mr. Newman was a Media and Telecommunications banker, focusing on early-stage financings in emerging sectors. Mr. Newman has also owned several gourmet food businesses. Mr. Newman earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, and received a BA magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
